Getting young children to focus on a lesson for an hour is a challenge especially with hyperactive or reluctant learners. Adding movement and breaking the work down into small tasks is helpful, but the best thing about this strategy is that it puts the child in control over the length of the session. With better focus, the learner can move up the steps faster and complete the required amount of work sooner.
